Payal Kadakia may be best known as the founder of ClassPass and the first tech unicorn of 2020. But her deepest passion is for dance.

Her artistic roots lie in traditional Indian folk dance which she has been training in since the age of three. In 2008, she founded The Sa Dance Company weaving together Indian and Western dance forms. Her work offers a window into a world not often presented to Western audiences and a mirror for a modern Indian-American community

 

SEEING SHAPES is an hour long documentary in post production that follows Sa from rehearsals to a stunning performance at the Alvin Ailey Dance Center in NYC.
